Hi, my names Bridget Warns,
If you’re here you’ve probably got dogs that would just love an individual adventure or training walk all to themselves !
So it’s a BIG welcome to VIDActivities & so glad that you’ve found us : )
I offer specialist one-to-one Walking & Training services just for your family dogs. Lucky dogs !
By providing a specialised service your dogs get 100% of my attention when on our Adventures or Training walks. Having had my own nervous/shy dogs I know that not all dogs wish to be walked (or travel) with other unknown dogs, it can be stressful and make what should be the highlight of their day into an unpleasant event they do not enjoy as much as they could.
I offer 120, 90 & 60 minute walks depending on the type you select, either Adventure Walks or Training Walks. These are offered as Solo – just your single dog, or Duo – 2 dogs from same household ( Training Walks are for just 1 dog at a time ).
I am your sole walker, so you know your dog is in safe and knowledgeable hands..
Adventure Walks – are in our local area ie Broadland & the Coast, and include riverside walks, dunes/beach walks, woodland walks, countryside parks, local footpaths, secure dog fields and more ! If your dog has a favourite place to go, please let me know!
These walks are great for all breeds, for dogs who love to explore, dogs who may generally only get shorter walks for whatever reason, dogs that need an outlet for their enthusiasm and energy !
( I have a Standard Poodle youngster, so I know just what these more active breeds need !)
Training Walks – for puppies, rescue dogs, adolescent dogs, adult dogs…. all dogs !
These are in your local area and totally depend on what basic dog skills you need some training help with eg walking, pulling on the lead, nervousness/reactivity, real life socialising, recall (on lead unless in a secure field) sits, downs, stays and much more. Training needs are discussed with you first so that training walks are totally tailored to each individual and families requests.
Feedback notes are given after each session so you can implement the training yourself and progress the skills further between your dogs walks with me.
Dogs will remain on lead until such time as I am confident in their recall back to me. This is for their safety and your peace of mind. Equally I will only allow dogs off lead with the owners permission.
I use long-line training leads for Adventure walks so your dogs can do as much exploring as they like as we ramble through the fabulous Norfolk countryside.
By Law all dogs must wear a collar and ID tag with owners details – this means your surname, your full address and (optional but sensible ) your telephone number(s).
Since 2013 I own and run VIDA Dog Training, .
Though I’ve been a dog Trainer since 2007 when I was head Trainer at a local Obedience Club teaching KC Good Citizens Scheme at all Levels. I am BIPDT & PPDTI Qualified, Fully Insured with PetPlan Sanctuary Insurance and DBS checked, clear. Dog 1st Aid Certificated
